We do a number of health checks on our dogs:
* Hip and Elbow x-rays
* Board Certified Eye Exam
* Board Certified Cardiac Exam
All medical reports are available on the OFA and Berner-Garde sites.

Frida is a Van De Samaika dog, his parents were from Belgium and he has the beautiful traits of the Van De Samaika kennel: an incredible head, beautiful markings, big bones and the magnificent heavy charcoal coat that seems to be more present in European lines. Of course his number one asset is his temperament. His loving ways, intelligence, playfulness, loyalty, easygoing tolerance and trustworthiness endeared him to us more than we could ever have dreamed. Frida is first and foremost part of our family and is always with us. Frida and now our new puppy, Frida, live and mingle nicely with our cats, birds, Leopard Tortoises and fish. Frida is AKC & IABCA registered, and he has recently won the title of International Champion at his first show ever.
